Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is an amount of money which the Government allocates to school as part of the total school budget and which is based on the number of children who are in receipt of or have been in receipt of Free School Meals.
We receive the money in the April of any given year, which means that allocated budget help to fund 5 months (April to August) of one academic year and 7 months (September to March) of the next.
We utilise this money in a number of different ways:
- On staffing to support learning and pupil well being
- Staff training and consultancy relevant to pupil need
- Curriculum provision
- Enrichment activities
