Year 5 DT - Apple Crumble

In Y5 DT lesson today, we made apple crumbles following a recipe. The children weighed the ingredients; peeled and chopped the apples and rubbed the flour, sugar and margarine together.

Thoroughly enjoyable and educational!

Selecting appropriate materials, tools and techniques.
Measure out accurately.
Use skills in using different tools and equipment safely and accurately.
Weigh and measure accurately.
Apply the rules for basic food hygiene and other safe practices.
