Transition Day and Meet The Teacher Sessions

Transition Day – Friday 4th July

On Friday 4th July, children will be spending the whole day in their new classroom with their new teacher.

You will need to drop off and collect your child from their ‘new’ classroom on this day.

Current Year 2 children, who will be in Year 3 from September, will therefore need to be dropped-off at 8.50am and collected at 3.20pm from the junior site at Longroyde Road that day.

Meet The Teacher Sessions

Children moving into Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5, Y6 from September - ‘Meet the Teacher’ on Monday 7th July 2025

We have organised two ‘Meet the Teacher’ sessions at both sites on Monday 7th July and this is an opportunity for you to meet your child’s new teacher in their new classroom. Below are details of your child’s new class from September.

There are two sessions for each class but you only need to attend one: -

• Meeting 1                       3.30pm-3.50pm
• Meeting 2                       4.00pm-4.20pm

Your child is welcome to attend with you - they will also have spent time in their new class on transition day (Friday 4th July).

Children moving into Y3 from September

In addition to the above, following each session, members of the Senior Leadership Team will be available in the school playground for you to talk to or to give you a tour of the Longroyde Road site.
